Except at our house.

I usually decorate all throughout our home for Christmas. But this year, I just haven't been able to find the time. Taking care of little miss Riley (and all the things that go along with it, such as the never-ending laundry - LOL!) doesn't leave too much spare time. I'm hoping B and I will be able to decorate (at least a little bit) over the weekend though, so we can be ready for Christmas. So, while my house is all decorated yet, but I was able to spruce up my blog for Christmas with a new holiday themed blog design! It took no time at all to install and looks wonderful! I wish decorating around the house was this easy! HA! ;)

I sort of have an obsession with baby hats and hair accessories! How about you? I'm sure I'm not alone with this obsession. There are just so many cute baby products out there, and I can't help but think how darling little Miss Riley would look in them. She has quite a collection of hair bows and a couple hats so far, and I'm quite certain she is a fashionista in the making! My Thoughts!
We were sent the Holiday Pom Poms hat for Miss Riley, and I simply can not get over how ADORABLE it is! It looks even more precious than I imagined it would on her. The quality is top notch, and the hat is nice and soft! This Holiday Pom Poms hat is done in the most cheerful shade of red and is adorned with two large pom-poms on the top of the hat, which makes it perfect for Christmas! This hat is a size 0-6 months, and it fits great - and even allows room to grow! Plus, with it having a solid red color, it makes it a great casual, everyday hat that will keep her little noggin' cozy and warm during these oh so cold months of winter. It is perfect as a photography prop, as well (and trust me, you will want to take a ton of photos of your little one in this hat).

2 Months Old!

Riley, you are a whole two months old today! I can hardly believe it. It's quite amazing how time flies...



You are so gorgeous and have the prettiest blue eyes! You currently wear 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers. And most recently, you started sleeping pretty much through the night (yay!).



You have grown and changed so much this month, and I'm excited to see what the next month holds. We love you to pieces!

My sister crocheted this adorable little kitty hat for Riley. It is so cute, and she looks absolutely precious wearing it. Riley just loves her new hat!

Too Many Cute Christmas Cards!

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays! And it will definitely be special for B and I this year because of Riley!! We have so many Christmas traditions we want to share with her and a few new traditions to start. A new tradition we would love to implement this year would be to send out personalized Christmas cards to our family and friends.

I've been a big fan of Tiny Prints for awhile now, and I knew that was exactly where I wanted to get our Christmas cards from for Riley's first Christmas. They offer some of the most gorgeous and unique personalized cards! Their selection of Christmas cards is amazing, and I've in love with far too many of them! I'm actually having a hard time deciding just which card to get with so many cute choices, but these are a few of my favorites:

Carson's & CVS Deals!

Over the weekend, Carson's had a great sale going on, and I also had a coupon that I received in the mail for $10 off a $25 purchase. I was able to pick up two adorable Carter's 4-piece sets (which both included a hat, a pair of pants, a sleeper and a onesie) for about $17!

I also stopped by CVS, one of my favorite stores to find awesome deals. I just love those Extra Bucks! They had Pampers Swaddlers for $18.99 w/ $4 back in Extra Bucks. I had a coupon for $2 off a box of Pampers and $4 in Extra Bucks from a previous purchase, so I was able to pick up a box for just $12.99!

While at CVS, I was able to pick up a little something for myself, too. I bought my current favorite facial scrub -- St. Ives Invigorating Scrub. I picked up three and got back $5 in Extra Bucks. So, now I have $9 in Extra Bucks to use on my next purchase, which more than likely will be more diapers for Miss Riley! ;)

Some of you may have noticed that my blog has a new look. While I loved my blog's old look (and I'll probably end up going back to it), I decided to make it look a bit more festive for fall!
