4th of July Headband

Riley has a couple of cute outfits for the 4th of July, so I wanted to make her a headband to match. And it resulted in the above photo! It looks adorable, and it'll be perfect to wear on the 4th! She's also going to be in a baby contest at a local Independence Day celebration, so she'll be able to wear it then, too.

UPDATE: Riley won!!! And I can not believe it. Aaahhh!!! This is absolutely wonderful! We're sooo excited! Her photo didn't receive the most "likes" (two adorable kiddos with sad faces did - congrats!), which I knew it was a long shot anyway since I stumbled across/entered the contest so late, but she was selected as the photographer's choice winner. Thank you so much to all of you that did like her photo! We are so excited to soon have some gorgeous professional photos taken of Riley.

8 Months Old!

She's now 16.6 pounds and 27 inches long. (She's in the 25th percentile in weight and 50th in height.)

She's till working on getting her first tooth.

She wears 3-6 month clothes.

She sleeps all through the night, but still hates napping.
