MWFB: Emmie the Muse Review

I'm so excited to introduce you to a cute little Etsy shop, Emmie the Muse, that is full of adorable essentials for your little one! Everything is handcrafted and affordably priced. At Emmie the Muse, you'll find baby necessities such as burp clothes, carseat strap covers, onesies, and more.

About Emmie the Muse:
I'm a mom of one little messy kid, who happens to be my muse. Just add a sewing machine, Emmie's approval, fabric and love... and you've got Emmie the Muse!
Check out some of her lovely creations:

Andrea, the super-talented gal behind Emmie the Muse, was so kind to send me a Green Damask Minky and White Minky Dot Baby Blanket for little Miss Riley. It's so gorgeous!

My Thoughts!
The quality of the blanket is superb, and it's wonderfully crafted! It's made from minky fabric in a green damask print on one side and a white dimple dot on the other, and as you can imagine, it's incredibly soft (makes me want one for myself!). Not only is it soft, but it's beautiful as well! The shade of green in the damask print is so pretty, and the color goes nicely with her nursery. On the white minky side, it's lovingly embroidered in the corner with my baby girl's name, Riley, in the same lovely shade of green as the opposite side. It looks amazing, and I always love when items are personalized as it makes an item that much more special and will be a great keepsake later on. I absolutely love this baby blanket! (In fact, I'm not sure who loves it more...Riley or me!)

MWFB: Bloom Maternity Review & Giveaway

Towards the end of my pregnancy, it was heartbreaking to discover that my ever expanding belly had outgrown 90% of my maternity clothes and caused my maternity wardrobe to greatly diminish. And with the end of my pregnancy so near at that point, I really couldn't justify buying more maternity clothes that I would only be able to wear for such a short amount of time. So, I was more than thrilled when I stumbled across Bloom Maternity, an online shop that carries a wonderful selection of maternity clothing -- and even pieces that can be worn during and after pregnancy! They offer clothing in a wide variety of styles and sizes -- as they do say, "No matter what your size, you deserve to look and feel beautiful while your body is in Bloom — and beyond!"

My Thoughts!
I was sent the d&a Eat You Up Top by Japanese Weekend from Bloom Maternity. This top, which is as versatile as it is cute, is designed to fit during pregnancy and still look great after! While pregnant, I found many of my other maternity tops become too short, but this top's length was really nice and covered my baby bump well. The top's cinched sides are very flattering (both during pregnancy and after), and the multicolored pixelated print and square neckline makes it unique. Not only does it look great post-baby bump as well, but it's really convenient for nursing, too. This stylish top is also very soft and comfortable (made out of 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex), which is key these days.

Here I am wearing the top @ 38 weeks pregnant:

And here's me in the top just recently:

As mentioned above, you'll find a ton of fashionable maternity and nursing clothing at Bloom Maternity, but that's not all! You can also purchase baby gear and essentials, gifts, and more!

MWFB: DaddyScrubs Review

Often times, dads can feel a little left out on the big day that baby makes it's arrival. It's all about mommy and baby, rightly so. But DaddyScrubs offers a way to help make dads feel special on that big day! DaddyScrubs offers "Delivery Room duds for Dads" (aka medical scrubs) that allow guys to show off their status as a new daddy in comfort. They offer more than just scrubs though! They have a bunch of great "I'm the Daddy!" gear, such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, and more.

About DaddyScrubs:
DaddyScrubs™ is the offspring of Robert Nickell, who fathered his first four children more than 20 years ago. DaddyScrubs™ was conceived when Robert, who remarried in 2007, discovered he was about to be a father all over again in the fall of 2009!

Not wanting to endure the pains of wearing uncomfortable street clothes while comforting his laboring wife, Robert hatched the idea of creating doctor-like scrubs for himself. It seemed a natural thing for him to do — since Robert is a pharmacist by profession.

To eliminate the confusion between “who’s the doctor” and “who’s the daddy,” Robert fashioned the concept of “I’m The Daddy™” medical scrubs.

All comfort wear from DaddyScrubs™ — including “I’m The Daddy™” medical scrubs and t-shirts are available exclusively online at www.daddyscrubs.com.

My Thoughts!
For review, DaddyScrubs kindly sent me the I'm the Daddy Classic Long Sleeve in the Edgy Navy design for my husband, B, and he loves it! When it arrived, he had to try it on to make sure it would fit for the big day, and it did - perfectly! The tee is comfy and has a nice weight to it, making it perfect for fall! On the front, it says "daddy" with the DaddyScrubs logo in the bottom left corner of the shirt. Across the back of the tee, it proudly exclaims, in a larger print than in front, "I'm the Daddy!" Plus, the shirt gets major points due to the fact that it's blue because that happens to be one of his favorite colors. He packed it away in his bag, and just a few short days later, we were in the hospital waiting to meet our little girl! He wore it in the hospital and also sported it the day we got to finally come home with our baby girl. Whether out and about or while relaxing at home, this will be a tee he will be able to wear for a long time, and proudly so!

MWFB: Your Baby's Room - Review & Giveaway

Personalized items always seem to make wonderful gifts! I've received a few personalized baby gifts from family and friends for my baby girl, and I absolutely love them! There's something about an item being personalized and actually seeing my baby girl's name that makes it feel really special. When looking for unique baby gifts like that for friends or for your own little ones, Your Baby's Room is a great online shop to check out! They specialize in personalized items for babies and children, such as blankets, name banners, clothing, toys and more.

About Your Baby's Room:
Your Baby's Room was created 8 years ago to fulfill the need for quality and adorable baby gifts and personalized accessories at a reasonable price. I have been sewing for many years and just love it! I have four great kids and a terrific husband who all put up with the constant hum of the sewing and embroidery machines!

My Thoughts!
For review, I received a personalized baby rag (burp cloth) from Your Baby's Room. And while it may be called a baby rag, it certainly is not just a rag. It's very well made and beautifully designed! The baby rags from Your Baby's Room are made with a Premium White 100% Cotton Pre-fold Cloth Diaper, and they offer them in two different sizes (12 x 15 5 ply or 13 x 19 6 ply).

The baby rag I received for my baby girl has her name, Riley, embroidered on it, along with several stars that are placed around her name. The green ruffly ribbon and pink/green polka dot ribbon perfectly accent the embroidered design. It is so pretty, and I love the colors (pink & green are two of my favorites)! This burp cloth could actually be used as a decoration in my baby girl's nursery with it's cute design and colors that go perfectly with her nursery. It's seriously so cute, it almost makes me not want to use it too much or get it dirty, but, of course, it can always be washed.

MWFB: Vitamins Baby Blankie Buddy - Review & Giveaway

Vitamins Baby is a great company that has brought us high quality baby products for over four decades. They offer baby clothing (from preemie to 24 months), educational books, baby shoes, and more! I remember one of the first gifts that we were given by a family member shortly after finding out we were expecting a girl was two multi-piece clothing sets from Vitamins Baby. The sets are adorable, and I can't wait for her to wear them!

Vitamins Baby has a nice selection of both baby boy and girl items, but, of course, I'm all about the baby girl stuff right now. I'm in love with metallics, animal prints, anything pink, and all things girlie, and Vitamins Baby has all of that and more! Here are a few of my favorites from their online store:

Knowing the quality and cuteness of their products, I was happy to recently have the opportunity to review a Blankie Buddy from Vitamins Baby.

My thoughts!
The Blankie Buddy I was sent is super cute! It is the perfect size for babies (approx. 6”W x 6”H) and is easy for little ones to hold onto and to cuddle/play with. The Blankie Buddy is pretty much a combination of two things that most all children love: stuffed animals and their baby blankies! The head, arms and feet of the little animal buddy are similar to a stuffed animal, and it has a blanket-like body. The body/filling is made with 100% cotton and is really soft. It's also machine washable, which is great (if i gets dirty, just throw it right in the washer - easy!). Blankie Buddies would be the perfect little gift for baby showers and to welcome new babies!

Where to Buy:
The 2-Pack Blankie Buddy Set retails for $20. You can browse Vitamins Baby's selection of Blankie Buddy sets, as well as their entire line of products, on their website (http://vitaminsbaby.com/).
